About Harry

Born and raised in London. Disconnected from nature for most of my life. Found my way back.

Harry standing in a bluebell wood, contemplative and at peace

I grew up in London. The pace, the noise, the relentless energy — it was all I knew. I was good at it, too. Moving fast, staying busy, filling every gap in the day with something that felt productive. Like most Londoners, I didn't realise what I was missing because I'd never had it.

The shift happened slowly. A night spent under the stars. A fire that held a group of strangers together longer than any pub could. A morning where I woke up cold and stiff in a tent and felt more rested than I had in months. Something in me started to change.

I began spending more time outdoors. Not extreme adventures — nothing requiring special equipment or expertise. Simple things. Fires. Walks. Sleeping outside. Eating food cooked over flame. Watching the seasons change in a way that London's concrete doesn't let you see.

Over time, I found something I hadn't expected: other Londoners felt the same way. People who lived in the same fast-paced city, who were quietly craving the same thing. Not an escape — more like a return. A chance to remember what it feels like to be part of the natural world.

That's how Wilding started. Not as a business plan or a brand — as a personal invitation. I began hosting campfire evenings, then weekends in the woods, then seasonal gatherings. The groups grew. The connections deepened. People kept coming back.

I'm not a survival expert or a wellness guru. I'm a Londoner who found something that made life feel more real, and now I share it with others. That's it. If you're curious, come along. No experience needed. Just come as you are.
